It is possible to like this movie!
Mission Impossible 3.
Loss of friends is terrible, when the friend is your first trainee and that too in a special line of duty for the country, it adds more terror to it as a whole. I could relate with Tom Cruise
(Ethan Hawk) on the kidnap of agent Farris(Keri Russell) Tom Cruise comes out of his retirement
and his lip reading marvels, and would be sister-in-laws announcement of a babys arrival, he
rescues Farris to be disappointed and shocked at the discovery of a mole and other things.
Well as a policy I dont see sequels, I dont regret seeing Mission Impossible 3, what is different in this film from its predecessors is the whole treatment, the plot is new, there is lot of human touch sprinkled with awe inspiring action and stunts.
I had time and DVD player and my younger brother presented me with a new Mission Impossible 3, I liked it, not to the extent of seeing second time, we usually see second time to relive the
triggers of happiness, there are different triggers in this film to be liked, this film is made
under consultation with Mr.Thomas L.Friedman, he advocates the benefits of emerging technology, but Mr.Friedman does not have any relation to this film.
Ving Rhames as Luther was interesting, Zhen is Maggie Q, Jonathan Rhys Meyers was other member of the team who participate in so many stunts with Ethan Hawk, the bridge scene, Sky scraper of Shanghai and some sleek Gadgets, a laser altimeter, a Video self destruct camera, a exploding capsule in the human body. These things lent a new face to Mission Impossible. Remote controlled guns and Vatican penetration and the abduction of Philip Seymour Hoffman(Owen Davian).
There is Laurence Fishburne(Theodore Brassel) looking more fat like head of a secret department. It made me look at him in a different role than of Morpheus(Matrix). I would like to say Hoffman looked real sinister, even the small TV screen made me feel the power of sadism he emoted with his role in this film. Even though we do not get a chance to really study anybody in this film because of its pace and plots and sub plots, we can still feel the influence of Philip Seymour
Hoffman acting a real villain.
The casting of Michelle Monaghan(Julia) left much to be desired, she looked like she was in the
wrong profession of a doctor, her complexion did not match that of Tom Cruise, what makes a good couple in our world, is the matching of complexion. I cant even recall her face nor her acting
neither her looks in this movie. Even though the lead actor is supposed to love her very much in
our movie, but that did not made me remember her. Maggie Q was a more memorable face and also the Italian looking Bahar Soomekh, the translator. I can easily recall the charm of these 2 ladies.
Grabbing of girl friend to blackmail in bringing Rabbits foot was a very childish bend to a Hero
as capable as Ethan Hawk and a Villain as impressive as Owen Davian. I will tell you one thing is
clear about this film, it does not carry much resemblance to its other 2 films with the same name, that is precisely the reason I could like this movie.
I could not understand the meaning of a mole in such a sensitive organization as that of IMF and
that too this mole is working for a Arms Dealer, what could be the morals of a organization which
produces people like Theodore Brassel, Luther, Maggie Q, Ethan Hawk and on the other hand the
mole, these things are not compatible, but we humans are most compatible to each other, our
bloods are same colour, our responses are almost one and same anywhere in our world.
Well we always have Bollywood to entertain us if Hollywood cannot do its job, but this film is
right up in the slot of 5 stars according to me, so let me complete this review with 5 stars.
*Yo! sometimes mind seems to relax with too much action!
