I placed an order with Mistry India on 10th December 2024, expecting one bag to be delivered within 14 days as promised. A few days later, on 16th December, I placed a second order for a bag that was supposedly in stock. I was reassured by the manager that both bags would be shipped within 8 days and that a few Christmas gifts would be included as a gesture of goodwill.
Unfortunately, this is where the problems began and they never ended.
From late December through March, I was caught in a continuous loop of:
Repeated follow-ups from my side,
Delayed, vague or no responses from Mistry,
Promises that the bags would ship in 2 days or by Thursday,
Automated and generic replies asking for my order number(even after I had already shared it multiple times),
And no tracking number, no dispatch, no refund.
At one point, I was told the delay was due to a problem at their Chennai factory, with a new promised delivery window between 57 March. That deadline also passed, without any update. Even when I asked for a refund, the manager replied: Providing refund statuses yet no refund was ever processed.
My last follow-up was met with: Please wait till Wednesday And then: Your bags are going today! Please do not call me.
Its now the end of March, and I still have not received my bags, nor a tracking number, nor a refund. Over 3 months of waiting, being ignored, and being given false reassurances. This is not just poor customer service it feels like a scam.
Warning to others: Do not trust the delivery timelines. Do not rely on promises made via WhatsApp. There is zero accountability, and no professional customer support once your payment is received.
I hope my experience saves others from the same frustration.
