It was indeed a great experience in this college. Though I have graduated some 7 yrs. back, the name itself gets back those wonderful days I have spent in this college. In fact I was surprised to see its name in this site. So thought I could share my views too.
When I was going to take admission in this college, everybody scared me by saying. Ohh !! Mithibai !!! You’ve got to be very fashionable or else people will call you outdated. ’’Bahut ragging hoga ! ’’ Even the chaprasi of this college will tease you if you oil your hair and what - not.
I was damn scared. But gathered the courage and 4 of my friends who had all got admission to this college for Science stream went. But we were all amazed, when we didn’t find anything that we heard out from people.
The college environment was very good. A Very good big library. As days passed, we slowly realised that those rumours that we had heard about this college were all false. Those who did not attend classes were always in and around the college canteen. but those who wished to always attended them sincerely. During breaks we could always have a walk in the most busiest area; Mithibai, NM College and Bhaidas hall road. As the college didn’t have a big campus, college goers and their friends too used to freak out outside the college only. The college did have a very good teaching staff, who have always had a very good relation with all students.
The three years that I have spent in this college were really very memorable. No fear of ragging or anything. people use to say fashion starts from this college. But I guess fashion trends like this were in all colleges. Nothing new abt them. Believe me, its a wonderful college. Though we used to never freak out and attend all lectures sincerely, we’ve had our share of fun in the classes and practical labs too.
When we had our farewell in the T.Y. we were really feeling bad not just because we friends wouldn’t be together again as we might all go in different directions to pursue our career , but we were feeling bad that we would miss this wonderful college and professors like Baliga Sir, Mohandas Sir, etc.
