I have bought the Cedia 1 and 1/2 months back and since then have driven it for more than 1000 Kms and the first service of the car is also done. Now, I think is the right time to write a review about this car. The specifications are as below:
Engine 2 Ltr, 115 bhp
Mileage - 10 - 11 kms per litre
ground clearance - 175 mm
ABS+ EBD+ Dual SRS Airbags
I have bought the sports version, (black)which is the highet available and has Leather upholstry and Carbon Titanium finish to the front dash. The interiors are very spacious and stylish. No cheap plastics, no fabric quality issues, nothing. It is almost flawless. A LOT HAS BEEN ALREADY SAID ABT THE LOOKS OF THE CAR SO NO MORE OF IT!
The main feature of the car, apart from good looks is the Engine. It is super silent, powerful, extremely efficient and responsive. It cruises.The car has a robust feel and is easy to handle in heavy, bumper to bumper traffic.
The HM-Mitsubishi dealer in Pune was a complete surprise. Frankly I had not expected him to be great in any kind of Customer service. But right from selling to servicing, my experience with them has been fantastic. The difference in attitude has been due to the shift in focus of the Company with more Mitsubishi guys in the top mgmt. The Company is looking to launch 2-3 SUVs in the next 2 yrs(i think Monteiro is already launched) and revamping Lancer with an Honda accrod kind of version. Hence all the cars will be in the 10 lacs+ category, where they can’t afford poor old service issues.
I can compare the car very easily with the likes of Corolla than Honda city, as the engine power and other specs are more or less like corolla. The interiors are much better than corolla. All this at just 1 lac more than the City Vtec price. If u add ABS+ EBD and airbags to City cost, it will easily cost u upwards of 1 lac. Forget abt the more powerful engine and higher bhpsss.
The only thing that matters after buying is being at peace with urself on whether u have taken the right decision and do u enjoy your car.
I THINK YOU WILL NEVER REGRET BUYING A CEDIA! DRIVING IS PURE FUN, ALMOST MEDITATION! FOR ME, IT IS ALMOST AT A STAGE WHERE I JUST DON’T LIKE TO GET OUT OF MY CAR!
Could be Improvement - Automatic Climate control - it’s the only thing missing.
