Hello friends. I own a Lancer lxd 2.0 diesel. Very few people know lancer were the warriors fighting with lance, a long sharp edge weapon. Mitsubishi had definitely done their homework while finalizing the name Lancer. I had huge Crush on this car in my college time. Being mechanical engineering student we hadn’t other options, jokes apart. I was flattened by its sporty look. Mine had clocked 1, 69, 000 kms. It has original piston rings, clutch, fuel pump, a.c. compressor. No major faults or breakdowns. The design, weight, power, stability and quality is impeccable. I get it serviced after every 7k kilometers. Always stick to Mobil or total quartz engine oil. For injectors cleaning I use system D or wynn injector cleaner products. Maintains speed at 80-90 km/hr with a.c. on highways. The a.c. Is very powerful. Very few people know that this car has rear a.c. ducts beneath the driver and co driver seats. Once you put the air circulation on face and foot mode, the rear passengers feel chill in no time too. The weight of the car is such that you can feel it’s stability on highway cruising. This car has best driving experience, road judgment and control. Although as compared to now a days cars it had less torque but it’s sufficient if one is not performing drag race on highway. No rattling in doors. I wish to complete 3 lakh kilometer with this car without any overhaul. If you maintain this Japanese weapon, I am sure that this will protect and serve you for years and years.
