I always dreamt of lancer but couldnt afford for 1 . I own an esteen 1.3 vxi ( not bad ) ! but lancer is lancer ! my friend has a ford 1.6 zxi he always compares his car to all the other cars and overtakes each and every car on his way ! he is really a good racer on the streets in hyderabad ! me and and my friend would put races in the city traffic b’coz I am not a fool to put a race with a 1.6 that too witha 1.3 esteem on a stretch . thats why we put race in the city traffic ! it totally depends on the drivers b’coz esteem is not that bad and is a petrol car ! so as usaul he overtakes me on straight road . he used to go 90 - 100 and even touch 120’s in the city easly ! and me 100 max b’coz I dont have abs in my car ! and my car has more pickup in 2nd gear than his car ! all of you who own a esteem 1.3 with good condition can ty this u put into 2nd and u can go till 115 easily ! but dont try to cross that speed as u can damage ur pistons !
ok comming to the point he won the race and told me never put a race with me again ! so I decided to take my friends car ( lancer sfxi ) modified ) and we put a race on a stretch on a straight road ! the 1st gear was so awsome I beat him till 40 and the 2nd was a lil slow and the 3rd was picking up like hell ! and easily touched 130.. and that guy was arnd 140 and soo ! I put into 5th gear in 125 and touched 150 till we stopped I had only .8 secs gap nealy ! he was so amazed to see a 1.5 tough off with a 1.6 ! isnt that great !
