I purchased a Mitsubishi Lancer in 2001 (it is a 2002), and have experienced no problems with it at all. The little beaut is now just over 20, 000 miles and is still taking me where I need to go. I’d say that the Lancer is probably the most comfortable car that I have ever ridden in, and that’s a fact. I don’t imagine having to get rid of this little guy for quite a while, I mean, the sound system is perfect, the car is completely customizable (my car has Hello Kitty stuff ALL OVER IT) and it is easily upgradable. Talking stock however, I will say that the Lancer has problems as far as the hubcaps that come with it. They scratch EXTREMELY easily, so watch those curbs.
