The first time I went to mocha was at the Bandra branch with a few friends around a year ago, then few months back they opened their new branch in Hiranandani Powai. And it was the start of an amazing relationship.
I mean, I must have been there a lot of times, my office being close by, but still I havent grown bored of that place ! That it self speaks volumes about Mocha.
The best part about Mocha is ofcourse the Hookahs. There is something about Hookahs that makes you want to go there time and again.
The ambience of the place is very relaxed, and it is reflected in the interiors and attitude of the service there. People there are very friendly and let you take your own sweet time at things.
The different types of Hookahs are a novelty although some are downright pathetic but some flavours like Apple, Coffee etc are just too good. For the more daring types Hookahs also come in alcoholic flavours like breezer hookahs, wine hookahs, cocktail hookah and stuff.
The next best thing is the coffee. If you are a true and ardent coffee lover then you have to try this place. The variety in coffee is quite something. Ranging from normal cappuccino, ristretto and milk coffee to more exotic variety of coffee like mocha and Indian peaberry.
About the food, although the variety in food isnt much, there are a few things worth trying like my favorite Chocolate Avalanche. There is only one word fitting for the dish .... Indulgence !! I mean..... something with chocolate cream, brownies, chocolate chips, chocolate fudge .......yummmmyyyy!!
The music nothing but adds to the overall experience. The DJ plays mostly lounge and arabic indian mixed sort of music, but if you request (and there arent many people around) then hell play your choice too.
The service can be a tad slow at times and if you are not patient enough to wait for sometime for your coffee then you might get frustrated a bit, but then Mocha is not at all your place. This one time I sat there for more than 4 hours with a friend having coffee and talking away to glory !!
Imagine a scene where its 11:00 in the night, you are tired after a days work well done, go over to Mocha, order Apple sheesha and Indian Peaberry, ask for couple of pillows, stretch your legs and relax. Idle time to have a nice conversation with friends.
This is one place which is true to its tag line. Coffees N Conversations!
