I had earlier written about selection of C-Segment Sedan and my experiences with various Midsized Sedans.
I thought that zeroing on a sedan is difficult enough. I wanted to go for Ford Fiesta and made booking with Modi Ford, Begumpet Hyderabad about a fortnight ago.
To avoid hassles and delays I requested them to arrange for loan also. While the person from Tata Capital harassed my seeking thousands of proofs and copies and took almost ten days to sanction loan , I made the payments. After all payments were made the Ford fellows started hiding themselves and even cutting ringing calls.
PLEASE SEE THE UPDATE BELOW............The Muhurat time considered good for me has twice been failed by Mody. Their Technical man who has to deliver the car to me switched off and lattter stopped taking my calls.
I am sure they dont have my booked colour (Platinum) and they dont want to tell me that. They lied to me and a third person confirmed to that the car is yet to come. I donot know why a firm Like Ford is having such cheats and unprofessional people as Agents ang Employees.
Now I am really worried about indefinite waiting and future service quality in view of the Company’s bad behaviour particularly after receiving full payment more particularly in view of my rift.
If you are particular about Ford cars, avoid Mody Ford....

Ford had finally deliverd on their promise on 14-11-2009 (one day before Deepawali) just in time before I lost ALL faith. Their response had been satisfactory so far and expect and HOPE that this will continue. I am a meagre user and just made about 2000 Km of which one was a long trip. Highways it gives 14 KM and about 10 KM in city.
