Pathetic service and uncorteous staff

I, along with my colleagues had an official dinner at moets gurgaon (DLF Ph -2) on 17 Aug 2006, however, after the pathetic experience there we have decided never ever to visit any of the moet’s establishments and will also recommend the same to my friends and family.


The incident that prompted us to take this decision is as follows:


As some of the members of our group had to take the night flight, I asked for the manager (Mr. Arya) on arrival to instruct him to serve quickly but he wasnt availabe.. we even finished our dinner but still he hadnt arrived.. I told the head clerk or something (Mr. sanjay) to take care of the guests andd serve quickly. But they took more than 45 mins in getting the first order...anyway the real shocker was yet to come...


As i got the bill, i offered my card and told him to hurry up as they had already taken a long time in serving us. I waited for him for 15 mins to get back and when he didnt I went inside the cabin to enquire abt the matter... I found another genetleman (infact a exactly opposite of that in true sense) was sitting there, I told him to quicken the process as we were getting late and to my surprise he started shouting at me... I was still patient and just asked him for his name (which he refused to tell.. though I later found out that he was mr. harish).. I simply told him that I am going to complain against him but he was least bothered. in the meantime mr. arya (th manager) also arrived and I narrated the incident to him but his reaction was also very casual as if nothing had happened.... though he apologised later but it appeared as if it was only for the sake of it.


But frankly this is a very disappointing experience.. I have been regular at moets gurgaon and def col and now even at stone but this is the first time I have faced such cold attitute of the staff... I wud suggest that they get better training especially in customer service. btw let me also inform you abt the reviws a person gets when he searches for moets on google:

I am sure that if moet’s staff continues with such indifferent attitute then it wont take much time to loose the continued patronage of the customers.


An Update: first I wrote this in the feedback column on moets website but it didnt work (i.e it didnt upload the next page!!) then I mailed this complaint to all the email ids mentioned at moet’s website but all of them bounced back... now you can urself evaluate how serious they are about customer service and feedback.
