Love is in the air!

Mohabbatein ? A timeless music saga. Jatin-Lalit have done a wonderful job of compiling a mixer of some extraordinary songs with spine-thrilling beats and un-copied music (a rare element seen in bollywood movie?s music these days.)

The album starts out with ?Humko Humi Se Churalo? sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Udit Narayan, Udbhav, Manohar, Ishaan, Shweta, Sonali, Preetha. It?s a sweet, slow and soft romantic song with the tune being melodious to the ears. The song is average sounding for the most part. It?s picturized on Shahrukh khan, Aishwarya Rai and the three jodis. The picturization is breathtakingly beautiful. Udit Narayan and Lata Mangeshkar impress like always. The new singers are great as well.

The album continues with a song sung by six different singers, ?Chalte Chalte.? The music being a little predictable involves some striking instruments like the tabla that sound prominent throughout the song. The song features the three actors and actresses. It also has a dreamy feel to it because of the lyrics that are penned very wisely.

The next song on the list is ?Aankhein Khuli Ho?, which is sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan. The song is a fast paced peppy number. Picturized on Shahrukh Khan, Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill, Jugal Hansraj, Shamita Shetty, Preeti Jhangyani and Kim Sharma, the song leaves an impact of a typical number from a Yash Chopra film. The music is supported immensely by the beats added to the song.

Next in line is ?Pairon Mein Bandhan Hai.? It has an energy that makes one sing the song along or even get up and dance. It has a very zesty feel to it that makes the song unique and matchless. It?s picturized on the three jodis, Shahrukh khan and Aishwarya Rai (towards the end).

Then it?s ?Soni Soni, ? which is again a fast paced and enthusiastic song. It has a festive mood added to it. The beats are simply awesome, they attach a kick to the song that makes you want to listen to it more. The lead singers are Udit Naryan and Jaspinder Narula, who definitely suit the characters picturized in the song.

?Chalte Chalte 2? is basically the same as the first one except with female voices instead of male voices and vice versa.

?Zinda Rehti Hain Mohabbatein? sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan, is again a song, which wouldn?t have been as exciting without the thrilling drumbeats added to it. The theme tune is also clearly illustrated throughout the song. It?s picturized right after ?Pairon Mein Bandhan Hai? on Shahrukh khan, Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan.

The theme song is tuneful. The violin is a perfect instrument used for the theme.

The lyrics by Anand Bakshi are marvelous. They are very relevant to the picturizations and positions of the songs. Lyrics of ?Zinda Rehti Hain Mohabbatein? make an impact, as it?s well suited to the picturization and even the movie as a whole.

The music, overall, can be identifies with a romantic theme. It?s a blend of sweet, fast, harmonious and easy to the ears kind of music. Highly recommended!
