Mohalla Assi directed by Chandra Prakash Dvivedi. It’s an epic movie for actual movie lovers.
Movie is based on a Novel named Kashi ka Assi written by Kashinath.
Sunny Deol, Ravi Kishan and Sakshi Tanvar are in the leading roles.
Sunny Deol is a Sanskrit teacher and an orthodox priest.
Story is about the pilgrimage Kashi and the selfish Gurus lived there. Kashi is living in Mohalla Assi with his wife. Kashi can’t accept the foreigners to live in his Mohalla Assi while some people allowed them to live in their houses for money.
The story also tells us about the Ram Mandir controversy and the political view of the Ram Mandir and the fight of Hindu Muslims.
Overall story is very good but the language used in the movie is vulgur so you can’t wathc it with the family but you’ll enjoy it watching with your friends or alone.
Music in not up to the mark but it’s okay.
Cinematography is just average, I think thye could have worked on it.
If you love watching movies with strong social massages then you’ll love it but if you are just going for entertainment then you’ll feel bored in the movie.
