I am referring to Mohammed Kaif India’s latest sensation in International Cricket along with Prince Yuraj.
In his first stint as an International One day cricketer Kaif had a pretty bad batting performance and was dropped from the team stating that he is good only for tests.But when Indian Selectors decided to have youngsters in the team they once again showed faith in Kaif.
Kaif incidently was the captain of India U-19 team which won the world cup in SriLanka.He even played in the U-15 team that also won the World Cup and now everybody hopes that he is playing in the senior team and will win the world cup in South Africa.
Kaif came into limelight when he and Yuraj Singh batted and won the match for India against England in the Natwest Final. He batted till the end and ensured that he did not loose his wicket.
He displayed the same form in I.C.C trophy in SriLanka helping India to reach the final of that tournament.
Apart form a batsmen he is a great fielder and has taken wonderful catches.He also bowls off-spin and can be helpful to the team to ball a few overs.
Wish that Kaif plays well as he is doing and brings India some luck.
