Horrible customer service

15th December 2017


I made a money transfer from my moneytap app to my account with the EMI option. Cash did not get credited to my account because there was an IFSC mismatch.


15th December 2017


I sent a mail to the team regarding the same. I got a prompt response from them asking for additional details so that the IFSC can be changed. I sent it on the same day.


16th December 2017


I sent a follow up mail asking if this was done. NO REPLY.


18th December 2017


I sent another follow up mail asking if this was done. NO REPLY. I called RBL customer service, they said I will have to get in touch with MoneyTap customer service and they do not have a number, They can be reached only via email.


27th December 2017


I receive a bill asking to pay for the money which was not credited to my account. I sent them a mail telling that I wouldn’t pay and that I don’t need their money anymore. THEY DID NOT RESPOND TO THE MAIL, INSTEAD CORRECTED MY IFSC AND TRANSFERRED THE AMOUNT WITHOUT EVEN ASKING OR CONFIRMING. AND PLEASE NOTE THE AMOUNT WAS NOT CONVERTED TO EMI AS REQUESTED BY ME.


8th January to 22nd January


I have been receiving message after message and call after call from the collection department asking me to pay the entire amount. I have kept mailing customer support and there is NOT ONE SINGLE RESPONSE. Now they have also charged me a late fee.


Please don’t use this app. Their customer support is horrible. Total lack of professionalism. DO NOT USE THIS APP.
