She met the perfect man. And then she met his mother
Monster-in-law carried this catchy line!
I guess a reason enough to watch the movie if u re expecting some elements of comedy and romance from it. Another added attraction was J.Lo ofcourse!
The movie begins off well with J.Lo as Charlie living off the multiples jobs she tries her hands at...from being a dog walker to an artist she seems to dabble it all. In her one stance with being a waitress she once again bumps into Michael Vartan as Kevin and rapidly they both fall in love. Kevins mother Jane Fonda as Viola has led a successful career in media but looses it out for her age. Her assistant, Ruby makes it more interesting in trying to restore her sanity which she never seems to be successful at :D
Viola is a fanatic whose temper and followed behaviour and is both funny and over exaguraated. What follows is a sweet and sour fight of the wits between daughter-in-law to-be Chalie and Viola. Both trying to outdo the other makes it hilarious and
Thus makes it a light watch and seems to have taken some major insiprations from unrealisitc Bollywood movies :)
