So while I do get my Regular doses of Cinema for Grown-ups I do get my nutrition for Juvenile Cinema too, courtesy my 8 year old. Needless to say that Brave, Oz, Wreck it Ralph, Rise of the Guardians are much appreciated by me than some painful emotional melodrama churned by other movies. For preliminaries the Special effects are superb and here are some form of art and creativity which still talks about lots of Hope and Optimism.
Monsters University is about Mike Wazowski, the Kid which grows up with the Dream of becoming the Perfect Scarer. He’s perfected his research, read all the Books, treasured a cap given to him by the Senior League of Scarers and precision all the Tools required to become One! With one Big(er) Hitch- he looks like no scarer, in fact not even close to it. Right from not reaching even proper height to the ID card of the Monsters University to being too good at heart to be a Scarer he literally falls short everywhere. Then there is James Sullivan carrying the Family name and of course the Legacy of being a Perfect Monster, his Roar is perfect, his mannerisms as a perfect Scarer and all that which is needed for him to be a One! Except that he is too un-concerned about the strategies and careless about it! They have the Same Dream, Their Differences, Same Grounds to Prove themselves and Of Course a Rift which They have to Cross to Work as a Team.
There are of course Characters which form captivating sequences which Tickle a Funny bone and actually make a grown-up view it with a wide-eyed wonder of a Juvenile.
Pixar is bringing the Imagination and Beauty of a Child’s world in the World of Grief-Stricken, War-affected and for the Ones struggling with Mundane. They are many Cinema connoisseurs preferring Grey shades of films and writing off such movies as Ridiculous- Sadly not realizing that How much we need such ridiculousness to Get back to Normal, healthy Self!
