MOONLIGHT AND ROMANCE don't always go together

MOONLIGHT BECOMES YOU Another masterpiece by Mary Higgins Clark. Maggie Holloway has been buried alive. Why? By whom? Can she escape? These are the questions that pull us into Maggie’s life. Liam Moore Payne, a young man who Maggie casually dates, has taken her to a party where she meets her long-lost and most endeared stepmother, Nuala Moore. Their joyous reunion is shattered just a few days later, by the violent murder of Nuala. The murderer left no clues which forces Maggie to plunge into the investigation. That was her first mistake. Her investigation uncovers the deaths of many of Nuala’s friends - deaths that at the time, seemed natural. Since Maggie grew up being self-reliant, she found it difficult to confide in anyone. Her emotions, fears and suspicions remained her own private thoughts, as did the clues she discovered about the murder of Nuala and the death of her friends. That was Maggie’s second mistake.

The murderer always seemed to stay one step ahead of her. Were her clues really leading her in the wrong direction? Or was is just made to seem that way? How could the murderer sense what Maggie was about to do? Could Maggie survive being buried under a mound of dirt with her only air coming from the small breathing tube that was built into the old Victorian casket? At least she had air, some air, no matter how small. What’s that? A voice? Someone talking into the tube? Yes. Yes. She knows that voice. She is saved .. or is she? What’s this? Dirt falling on her head? The air tube! It’s being plugged up! No air! No sound! But now she knows who killed her stepmother and why. Now, if she can only get out of the coffin and tell someone. But how? This novel will keep you on your toes. With every twist and turn, I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat waiting .. and wanting .. and hoping .. for........... well, you’ll just have to read the book to find out. (I will admit I read this book in two days. I just could not put it down!) (and I bet, neither will you)
