Long gone are the time when we used to fetch water from the well, boil and use it for drinking and cooking. In the recent years almost all the households, especially in Chennai, has started using the purified drinking water, either buying cans from the vendors or by installing water purification system of their own. Of course, buying cans and refilling is a tedious job.
So when we moved into our newly constructed house, I decided to install a RO water purifier.I analyzed several brands like Zero-B, Aqua Guard, and Fontus etc. I was very impressed with couple of brands and almost made up my mind to go in for Zero B.
But to my luck, just before placing an order with Zero B, an executive from MORF India, came to our home, as he was on a door-to-door campaign in that area. He showed the brochure of the products he had and explained about their new Sparkle-X RO water purifier.
Initially I was not very impressed with the brochure and the products, because MORF India was not a very popular company, and I didn’t want to take any chances with the drinking water after all. But the sales guy insisted that it’s a good brand and been there in the market for quite some time.
He gave me a big list of phone numbers of those people who have already installed the product (both commercial and domestic installations) and asked me to take their opinion. I picked two numbers from that list randomly and spoke to them over phone and got positive feedback about the product.
Also, on comparing the features and price Sparkle-X looked like a better deal than Zero B, with bigger (10 liter) storage tanks, sleek outlook etc. The technical specs also looked good. So I made up my mind to go for MORF’s Sparkle-X.
Before placing the order the sales guy, said that they will provide one year free service and clean the equipment once in 3 months. He promised to install the purifier with in 2 days and was ready to accept credit card payment or post dated cheques.
As promised, the equipment was installed the very next day. The installation went on very well. People, who installed, did a very professional job. As per our request, they even provided a long (very sleek) out let tube, to drain the impure water (which is good enough to be used for washing/gardens etc) in the garden.
It’s been one year and 2 months, since we installed this purifier. As promised, they have cleaned the equipment once in 3 months, and also attended a complaint in between, without charging a penny.
The quality of the water is very good. We can visibly see the difference between the water purified using this device and the regular tap water. It removes the pungent smell of the water and makes it colorless and odorless. Apart from this we sent a sample of the purified water and got positive feedback. All the 5 members of our family, including my 11 months old son, have been using the water purified through this device, and so far we have had no problems.
