I bought this mixer-grinder from Pune for 2500/- in October 2010.
It seemed a fantastic buy from a well known company.
Started using the product in January 2011 and the first observation was tremendous vibration. That was enough to shake everything on the kitchen table. Within just a month of usage, the liquidiser lid had cracked, beyond use. The next one to show a crack was the switch.
Within a short time, the plastic on the blade of the liquidiser started disintegrating and bits used to mix with the ingredients. That was not funny at all.
On a positive note, mixer works fine and grinds extremely quickly, but the amount of vibration is unbelievable. I’ve now put a layer of thick clock for the main machine, to act as an damper.
Honest advice to anyone: Please look out for other brands and avoid Morphy Richards like plague.
