I am using Morphy righard iron 1000-watt dry iron since from couple of months, I got the iron from More supermarket with offer price I got just before Dashera’s fastival.
I was just using it normaly and set the temp to the lowest to use it on silk. Tried using it on it but still it was very hot not wanting to ruin shirt I didn’t used it.
But it is problem sloved when I adjusted the temperature again and thought it must be a minor things with electricity. But than it happened every-time and one day it is temperature won’t go down, not wanting to cause an accident I switched it off.
The very next day the iron just stopped working completely. Took it to the same shopping mall they ask me to wait 3/4 days and claim from the company for replacement but after 5 business days I received one more pics which was different one and already used I asked to give me the box pics new one they said company only replaced and giving to you we can’t changed the any other pices.
I took the replaced one but somehow I felt this was also same temperature issue. very difficult to set for particular cloths. Finally I managed to located the service center and asked them to repair it. Morphy Richards do not have their own service center despite selling a number of products in India. I did not like that service center the way to service.
It don’t have durability to use for long time. But style and design is good and user friendly.
I won’t buy anymore this brand in future as well also I will not suggest other for this brand.
