This review is to help the fellow bangaloreans from getting deceived by the good design of Morphy Richards Mixer Grinder and promise of Guarantee of 5 years for the motor. I bought a Morphy Richards Mixer Grinder "Essentials" model from Girias Koramangla. They gave me a rain damaged cover piece but leaving behind the inhibitions, I guessed the product would still be good.
In a few of days of using the product , the Over load protector would trouble over and again for very less load.Also the motor was very noisy. So I decided to get the piece exchanged as the product had guarantee on the body for 2 years. The next jolt was due here.
The Girias Koramangla did not want to exchange it as it was beyond 15 days and the service centre had no question of exchanging the piece. Also when I bought the product , I was told there were many service centres around Bangalore. But.But when I contacted the service center near my area, they were no more taking up morphy richards. It was very far from my area . I took the trouble to get to the service centre only to get the motor replaced with a bajaj motor , can you believe I bought a morphy richards to hold a Bajaj motor in it. I could have as well bought a bajaj mixer.
I am really disgusted and would want to help you all have an insight on this product, hence this review.
