When our old Sumeet mixer stopped working after couple of repairs, I decided that enough was enough I will buy a new one. Trust me it was a real good one. It was the one of the best in the market when we bought it. It worked with out a problem for close to 10 years, before we started having a few glitches. That was the reason for all delicious food I got to eat every day. My mom had such good opinion about it that she wanted Sumeet again.
I happened to check with a friend Ashish-married man in our group. He said he has tried all the products and Morphy Richards is the best. Name was new to me, and obviously my mom had never heard about it. Did a little research on internet, lotta of users had good reviews about it. So I decided to change with time.
I went to Vivek’s in 100 feet road and asked for this product specifically. Usually when you got to shops you get influenced by the shopkeeper, to buy something else. Didn’t let that happen this time, I got what I wanted. Price was on the higher side, but its worth it. Looks sturdy and sexy too. I am saying this because I have seen ads in the newspaper with mixers of 900 odd, this one was 4500 odd. Good things come with a price tag! The first box we open had a damage in the jar. If it was me alone I would have taken it with out checking. One of the reasons why I make sure mom is there when I buy these kinda things. Good learning, no matter how good the product is, keep your eyes and ears open while buying. Can’t rate on the service yet as I’ve not had to contact them yet.
We have used it for about a year now, mom is really happy about it. I have got positive reviews about it, will recommend it to anyone who wants to buy a mixer. It has a 5 year warranty for the motor and 1 year for other accessories like jar and plastics. Vivek’s provides an extended warranty for 1-2 years I guess. They made courtesy call the next day. Much to my surprise! This review is for Richard Morphey but I give Vivek’s a few points for that suprise call. That is working towards better customer experience, appreciate it!
At the end of the day I’m happy with what I bought. I did my research, got the same and feel its worth the money.
