Moserbaer MP3 Player MP 575-2G - Good one

I was looking to buy a good personal compact MP3 player. Reviewed most of the ranges from Phillips, Sony, Trascend etc. For most of them the output power is in the range of 2 to 3 mW(RMS for 16ohm impedence). While Sony Walkman(B Series) and some new models from Phillips offered higher output power in the range of > 10mW(RMS). As we know for better low bass higher output would be needed.

Most of the phillips products were decent as were the sony ones too.

In Croma I saw this Moserbaer player and instantly liked the

Simplicity of the design - One joystick like switch and a menu button,

Price of around 1200 Rs.(Moserbaer website),

5 hrs backup was fine with me,

FM Radio was decent,

Bass output was in par with some of phillips players but less than sony walkman to an extent,

Sound Equalizer but no user customizable option,

Headphones supplied with the player were not upto the mark, I had my sony in ear headphones and output was decent,

Charging thro any USB Host only or a separate USB charger needs to be purchased,

USB adapter supplied,

Sound quality is above average,

LCD light colour can be changed(Guess 9 different colours)

Songs will be played based on folder selection - No sorting based MP3 IDs like artist, album etc. I was OK with that.

The sound output in RMS is not provided by manufacturer.

For me I needed a decent player for my cycling / exercising activities. Something small witha clip with decent sound output. I am happy with it.
