Expecting my first child I obviously have million questions going through my mind, I stumbled upon the Februray 2008 issue and Im totally hooked.
Not only do they give excellent tips from pregnancy to infant care and toddler years, there are excellent health articles and whats more they are applying to the Indian contest as well clearing my mind on some of the issues I had (being Swiss and pregnant in India).
Another big positive is that contrary to most magazines now on the market, this one still has more articles than ads, and the few ads they have are informative as well. A dream when you are a first time mom-to-be, in a different country from where you grew up not quite sure about what products are available.
My only negative comment would be that this magazine seems to be not so widely distributed in Bangalore and I havent been able to get my hand on the May issue, I decided to subscribe though and should get my June issue soon.
I did subscribe through their website (another must visit as it is full of great infos as well) and while I got a confirmation of my order from their credit card payment gateway, I didnt get one directly from GenNext Publishing so I emailed them to ask if my ordered when through, I was positively surprised when barely one hour after I clicked on the "send" button in my email I got a call from one of their customer care executive telling me that the order was through with them and They would dispatch the June issue to my place on June 6th.
I subscribed to various magazines in the past and I was fearing a poor customer care service like I sadly experienced too many times with the India Today Group. I cant say though if the delivery of my subscription cop will be prompt and regular, but the fact that they have a customer care service that takes time to address issues immediately seems quite positive too.
