I think I don’t need to give any introduction about this movie at all. A classic from Mehoob Khan, with Nargis giving a performance that could not be match till now.
Actually it’s remake of Mehoob Khan earlier film Aurat that was made way back in 50’s.The film not only depicted the struggle of a mother to raise her two children, but also her love towards the people of very same village whose people tormented her after her husband death.
Nargis’s role became all time great in Indian film industry, but I think the role of Sunil Dutt was also well performed by Dutt sr.
The songs were also good and specially ’’Is Duniya Mein Aaye Hai.. how true the songs sounds!
