Since May 2015, the Nifty has lost approx 6%, while Motilal Oswal’s Value Portfolio(MO) has lost 14%.
ICICI Bank has been actively selling Motilal Oswal’s Value Portfolio.
At the time of selling, their USP was that MO routinely betters the Nifty by 3% points. However, MO is trailing the Nifty by 8% points.
Motilal Oswal picked stocks that were at their peak, hence showed very poor timing.
Their annual fees are very high, and they make their money even as you loose yours.
