Motorola is into business or Gimmicks?

I bought Motorola Back flip MB300 handset just a week back and I am shocked to see that it runs on a outdated technology which is "Android 1.5" while the current technology that is being used is "Android 2.2" This is a technology that was outdated long ago however Motorola is able to sell this in India by cheating customers(nobody would have bought this in US or UK).

By using this old operating system users can not take the advantage of thousands(probably even more) applications that are actually supposed to be free, worst part is that if the user does not know that he is using an outdated technology, he can not use the help manuals and instructions that he gets online as there is considerable variations in the functioning of the old and the new technology.

I have also seen some people paying for the applications that were supposed to be free however they can’t know that it is free because old version of OS shows them that you have to pay to use those applications and the vendors take advantage of this.

While purchasing the handset I was given a number "1800111211" and I was promised that whenever I had any problem, a technician would come right to my doorstep and provide the required service however when I called this number, I got a message saying "This number does not exist, please check the number you have dialed!" Motorola is into a new strategy called "SELL & RUN" strategy, they sell their product and run without providing any further service as promised.

Just because it takes some investment for Motorola to upgrade to the new technology, it is cheating Indian consumers and selling them useless products at premium prices.

I must say I have lost Rs:19, 200 because of the Motorola’s gimmicks.

Now I know why Nokia is the market leader in India and Motorola is just what it is.

Motorola: If you continue having the same attitude towards Indian consumers, i’m sure, you will be kicked out of Indian markets soon, beware and stop cheating customers.
