This cell needs a lot of enhancements as of today

Well I bought this Motorola C300 back in Jan, 2004.

I was generally a nokis fanatic ... but the classy look of this set actually bowled me over.

The silver body and its shape I feel is too good to resist.

The keys are jus too good. And the best thing about this set is the battery life.

This set is blessed with a comparatively long battery charge.

It was worth my budget at that time.

But with the advancement of tech the cell prices have actually tumbling down.

Thats when I thought I need to change over.

Lookwise I still admire the set ... but functionalities are to bare minimum.

The disadvantages include quite a lot.

Talking for sometime hots up the earpad. And at-times the words get reverberated n you get to hear your own words at odd moments that disrupts effective communication.

Again this set of mine does not support polyphonics, neither the display is colour.

Also the message memory is limited to just 15 ...which is jus very less.

In Jan’04 I would have given this rating of 8 on 10 .... coz it was jus quite affordable.

But with the changing times , advancement in technology and tumbling mobile prices.

This set needs a lot more enhancements to stay in competition with other cost-effective sets even in 2005 coz its looks n handy size sets it class apart.

But just for the sole purpose of communication its quite ok .

Today in Apr, 2005 I would actually give it a 5 on 10 rating.
