You can get better ones elsewhere

I bought M-c350 at sangeetha in Bangalore last year for 6250/-.

The features I liked were the color display at such a low cost. The fonts on the LCD panel were good. Since this was my first cell, I had no idea about how the user interface (menus, ...) should look. I also didn’t think of testign cell for reception quality at the time of purchase. But now, after using for an year, I feel this cell was not worth the buy. I could have bought better ones for cheaper cost.

The most important problem in this cell is its very poor reception quality. It loses connection in places where other cells (Nokia, Samsung) would atleast show some connection. I have found network connectivity loss in lifts or in basements. It also has an annoying beep to alert the user about both connectivity loss and gain.

The key pad is too small to key in letters or numbers comfortably. For frequent SMS users, this can be such a pain. My brother almost threw my cell into drain because of frustration.

This ringing volume of the cell is lower than others. Even at maximum power it has a lower ringing sound. Lots of times you will miss calls. I found that the best way to get alerted about a call in this cell is to keep the volume as high as possible AND have it vibrate at the same time. Then, you will atleast notice the vibrations.

LCD Panel is good. But the external case is bad. Somehow small particles of dust get inside the cell and the brightness of the panel lowers. The case must be regularly cleaned.

Battery backup is okay. I keep it running 24 hrs/day and I need to recharge it once in 2-3 days. If you speak for about 1/2 hours continously, the cell becomes hot in the speaker area and you will find the heat uncomfy when you use it later.

Plus features in the cell:

I like the user interface in the cell. It can eb a little difficult for Nokia users but once you get used to M-c350, it will be okay. This also has the capability to act as a modem for a laptop or a desktop. I like this feature but have not used this. The software driver for this modem-cell phone doesnt come along with the package, but must be downloaded off the web.

All in all, this is not a worthy purchase. If you are still bent on buying this cell for cheap, then just take mine for a dirt cheap price :)
