The Motorola ROKR E1 offers many advantages than the average mobile handset, and is the first mobile phone to support Apples iTunes system as used in the iPod and actually it is a joint development by Motorola and Apple.The Motorola ROKR E1 is a classically good looking phone with a size of 108 x 46 x 20.5 mm & 107g weight.Music output is via 3D surround sound from twin speakers, which is excellent in quality. It supports MIDI, MP3, WAV, and AAC formats. It can play 15 hours music using wired headset or 6 hours using surround sound speakers. Downloading with GPRS class 10 internet connectivity is very fast and it takes to download a standard 4 megabyte soundtrack in 30 seconds.The screen is 262k color, 176 x 220 pixels, TFT screen. The camera is VGA camera (640 x 480 pixels) with 4x digital zoom. TransFlash memory cards can be used to expand the memory of the device. Talktime is up to 560 minutes and the battery standby time is up to 230 hours .Connectivity is through Bluetooth and USB but there is no infrared. A nice feature is the side lights that sync with music, ringtones and games and the vibration effects that sync with games and music. There is one special mode, ” airplane mode” which is very handy, enabling you to access address book, games and music during flights.
