I brought this phone in December 2002, at that time the price was 11650. It was the cheapest of the color display phone at the time. Now the price has really come down, 7500 or something like that in Bangalore.
The phone is quite good. The one BIG problem with this phone is the low battery backup. The battery seems to drain out very very fast. 5 or 6 calls and you are the end of the battery life. Another problem is that you don’t get any kind of cover for this phone, I searched almost all of Bangalore and still I am waiting to find one.
Now considering that you get a lot of different models at almost the same price as this phone, I definately would not suggest anyone to buy one. If you do you will end up like me, running around places to recharge after every 5-6 calls.
