The Moto e 2nd generation is the successor of the young generation. It is very thick and heavy and feels like holding a brick in the hand. But it has quite a lot similarities with it. It has one of the poorest displays with washed out colours and very less pixel density.
It packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor which has 4 cores compared to the dual core version of it in the Moto e 1st generation which is really a very bad thing. The performance is slightly improved from the first generation. But despite of that it is unable to play graphic intensive games easily. It has one of the worst cameras ever which have not been upgraded form the previous generation. It clicks very bad burry low in details and colours images. The software is also not at all optimised. The phone hangs, lags and stutter very frequently and also restarts without any reason. The only thing I like is its good battery life and a front facing speaker.
So I would not suggest you to buy this phone and please go with other alternatives like redmi 2.
