I had purchased this smartphone from Flipkart and I’ve been using device for about a month or so. Till now I haven’t faced any lags or heating issues. Everything works to be just fine. The main reason behind purchasing this phone was the timely Android updates. You might feel that there’s very little difference between the Android firmware versions but Google brings in the latest security fixes that are essential in day to day life. Let’s discuss the bright sides of this phone in detail:
1) Display - First and foremost, the 5 inch HD 720p display is vibrant and packs punchy colors. The viewing angles are great, thanks to the LED display. Watching videos and playing games is a treat.
2) Design - Motorola has slightly changed the design and it looks gorgeous. The phone feels good in hand and can be easily held in hand. There’s no chance of slipping as the matte finish helps in this area.
3) Performance - As the phone runs vanilla Android, I didn’t face any issues with this fine. Multitasking is a breeze and it has got an overclocked Snapdragon 410 chipset, so you feel the difference with other budget phones. Games run smoothly with no heating issues.
4) Battery life - The battery life is quite good and I’m easily able to last it for a day with moderate to heavy usage.
5) Software - The UI isn’t skinned and so everything is buttery smooth with no hiccups. Moto Assist and Moto Display is handy.
6) Speaker performance is great too and gives very loud output.
7) Another improvement is the Water Resistant feature.
8) Connectivity - Dual 4G SIM slot, microSD slot, Wifi and bluetooth. All areas are covered. Nothing to miss out in this segment.
Verdict - So, if you are in the range of below Rs. 15000, then this is the phone for you. A complete package and timely Android updates makes this phone a winner.
