I have something bad to write about Motorola G, purchased through Flipkart. I used my Moto G for a little over 6months([IMEI/Serial No: 355004057038252; Invoice Date: 04-03-2014).
Being a new phone, it was taken care in an appropriate way; however, still the display got damaged. And upon visiting the authorized service center of Motorola in Bangalore ie, Sri Sai Cells, Double Road, Indiranagar; they just rendered a blatant reply – the display has to be changed and you have to pay INR 4, 600(simply by seeing the mobile). When I requested to at least check the cause of damage, they responded with deaf ear repeating their earlier statement to change the display by paying INR 4, 600.
Firstly, how can the display get damaged without any harm to the mobile, even when the phone was handled with extreme care and secondly, how the service center doesn’t care about any reason for damage and simply want to generate revenue on customer’s misery?
Motorola used cheap parts to make Moto G and made it a way to generate more revenues by selling spare parts to the buyers.
Please never buy any Motorola phone; they trick you with Flipkart - Exclusive presence and provide cheap products which will last until the warranty period only. However, in my case, it couldn’t last even till the warranty time.
