Moto G 3 was one of the best looking phones and with great build quality motorola ever made but, the only disappointment was the processor which was not too much powerful as some of Chinese rivals like xiaomi or le tv in the price segment.
But, motorola did answered it well with the moto g turbo.
Design- As mentioned above it is one of the best looking and best build devices motorola ever made alongside its bigger bro the moto x style. One of the biggest issue with the earlier generation was its thickness and I am happy to report that this one is slime than before. Also the rubberized build is one of the most good build quality or rare build ever found on a smartphone of this range. Even the swap able back covers are the greatest customize able features which would surely attract anyone who prefers style and colors. Also nowadays most phones made out of plastic just feel worst and manufactures moving to metal build is acceptable but most phones made out of metal makes it really a boring market and for this the moto turbos build is just the solution.
Performance: Well being powered by the snapdragon 615 its performance is just awesome be it playing games or casual tasks like web or chatting. If not less this is more due to the 720 p display which helps the gpu to maintain better frame rates than its rivals contain the same proccessor as they comes equipped with full hd display. Also runs on nearly pure android so that is another reason for being one of the smoothest UI phone at least in the segment.
Memory: 2gb of ram is just the right amount of memory to handle any task on androids ecosystem and the phome never begs for more ram in any task. Also it comes with a proper memory card slot raher than any crap hybrid slot along with 16gb of internal storage.
Display: It comes with a 5inch display with the resolution of 720p and it might be a disappointment for few as most peoples nowadays want bigger phones but the truth is that a person does not require a much bigger size phones for daily driver and the 5 inch is just the perfect. Again when the term comes to display quality that it is good but not the best out in the market but is not to be complained much because there will hardly be any user migrating from a flagship with super amoled display or Qhd.
Battery: Well it comes with a 2450 mah battery which is one of the most lacking point of this device according to various customers but that truth is that once anybody get this will not start complain about it because the size of the battery is just the right amount for daily usage unless they shifts from a phone with a jumbo battery. Also it is equiped with fast charging by utilizing which the users must be able to quickly get their pones back into action. Well let me remind you there are still peoples happy with their iphones with smaller batteries especially on the 5s or so.
Durability: Now how many of you like the toughest build qualities of nokia phones in the past if yes then moto phones are of that kind of build quality with few more due to the official IP certified rating it is officially water and dust resistant. Also this might be the first in class phone to offer such ratting and if no less none of the others currently offers such protection in the price range which is actually a must.
Camera: The 5mp front and 13 mp camera on this phone are good in terms of performance but still not the best or even some peoples say that it is somewhat downgraded in performance and that might be true but I dint got to compare both of these devices as I dintt had the g3 and had only the turbo edition.
Cons - It is actually hard to admit any cons with such a favorite device of mine but still I would mention them-
Moto will no longer offer updates to Nougat: But again let me tell you that even most of the devices in the market are still running on marshmallow and there is no guarantee that each of them would receive the updated except few.
The signal strength especially on 4g is somewhat poor compared to others but still works perfect in areas where network is good but in areas where there is very low strength it just struggles.
Sound from the speakers are somewhat less than some of its rivals
Camera could be better
Call quality might be better
Display is not too great in terms of quality
Conclusion and own ability in 2017: Well this phone might be 1.5 years old but as its price have reduced to 9k there is nothing wrong in getting this unless you are a highly performance oriented fellow or someone who had already used a phone with giant battery.
And if not less the processor is still worth in performance and when term comes to software you still can get a lots of roms to choose as moto are quite famous all over the world.
Also keep in mind that the new moto g5 how good it might be it wont comes with such kinds of plasticky build which is highly robust and stunning.
