Motorola mobility has done a fantastic job in producing a range of consumer friendly, decently priced and yet moderately speced smartphones in the past few years. The whole Moto G flame was put into the costumers by Motorola in late November 2013 when the first generation Moto G was introduced into the world market.
The phone got a high profile for its decently high specs and relatively low price. From then on, Moto G series has been one of best smartphone series in the tech community. And yes the Moto G4 Plus has again put up the glory of the Moto G series in 2016.It is decently speced and priced relatively low for the experience it offers for users. It has got an octa-core Qualcom Snapdragon 617 chipset , Adreno 405 GPU and 3 or 2 Gigs of RAM depending on the storage variant you chose.
i.e 3 Gigs for 32 Gb variant and 2 Gigs for the 16 Gb variant. The most interesting feature of the Moto G4 Plus is of course the Camera. It has got a 16 Mega-Pixel primary shooter with Laser assisted focus and Phase detection auto focus(PDAF)and a duel tone LED flash. It does a fantastic job in capturing high quality pictures with optimum exposure, temperature and a lot details even in low light. It can record 1080p videos in 30 fps and slow motion video in a reasonable resolution as well. The auto-focus during video recording is top end and it do have video stabilization.the front facing 5 Mega Pixel shooter does a decent job as well. The images are sharp, well detailed and natural looking. Selfi lovers are going to dig this phone. It has got a 3000 mAH non removable battery and it does support fast charging.
Motorola claims the Turbocharging for moto gives you 6 hours of juice in just 15 minutes.
The call quality in this phone is perfect and it does support 4G and of course is a duel sim device. It provides a micro sd expansion up to 2 Terra bite and yeah its insane! The only problem that most users find annoying about this beast is the overheating issue but new generation smartphones definitely heats up a bit and thats normal but. the bad part is when the CPU starts throttling in some medium to high temperatures .It of course result in a bit lag of the phone and sometimes it may even get unresponsive. And lastly, my favorite part;the UI, it runs on Android marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box with no blot-ware for sure and of course it offers you a pure android experience. You might have thought I skipped the finger print reader, but sorry you are mistaken. The Moto G4 Plus offers a fantastic fingerprint reader.Even if the placement of the fingerprint reader and the fact that it does not double as a home button may bother some consumers a bit but it does a phenomenal job.Its accurate, fast and offers a little bit more security to your device.Overall the device is just perfect for day to day usage. It offers you a great camera, fingerprint reader for additional security and a stock android experience .It is of course a great buy for the price you pay i.e, around 13499 for the 16 Gig model and 14999 for the 32 gig model. And I would highly recommend it .
