Disgusting incident happened with me today. I have a Moto G5 plus phone and the phone is under the warranty. From last 2 days my phones battery drains in 1 hour from 100% to 10%. I went to lenovo(Motorola) service center @ Ashram road, Ahmedabad. The issue with the phone was that the battery started draing and the service center guys and even the Motorola customer care denied to take under warranty as there was a minor dent(only visible after taking the phone in hand, a very small minor dent) at the top pannel of the phone. The company said now the phone is not under warranty as there is a dent, Im not able to understand a connection between a dent and the battery issue. Also in addition the dent was 4-5 before and battery issue is now. The company says they only take the phone under warranty if they are in new condition. So why the company says 1 year warranty. Do the company think that in a year we should keep the phone in locker and do not touch it. Motorola disgusting customer support. Please take care before buying a Moto phones specially all the new g series and all the new ones. Stop buying Moto phones guys.
