Even though the SIM was working perfectly in all other mobile, initially I was doubting it could be an issue with my sim, so I visited idea care office. First they have changed my SIM and it didn’t worked. But the same sim worked on all other mobiles. Then they have tried with 5 different idea sim which they have and which is working perfectly in all other mobiles. But none of them worked on my moto G5 plus. Then I called moto customer care and they have explained me some troubleshooting steps including factory reset, but nothing worked out. Then I visited moto service centre in Marathahalli-Bangalore and they reinstalled the OS two time, but the same issue remains. Then they send me back with mobile by saying it is a new model, they need to discuss the issue with Motorola company, it will take 1 week to get reply. After one week I called Motorola customer support and they were saying it could be an hardware issue, reinstalling OS won’t solve it, they should have tested the hardware instead. So she suggested me to go to some other service centre of Motorola in Bangalore. Somehow I convinced her that the other two Moto service centre in Bangalore are far for me and I really didn’t have time to go their. Then she asked me to go to the same service centre and give us a call. Then again I went to the same service centre yesterday and explained everything. This time they took my mobile for repairing. But today they called me back and was saying they reinstalled the OS and they don’t have Idea SIM to check, so you please come. Today evening again I went there put my SIM and showed the same issue. Then they were saying some funny reason and trying to send me back with mobile. Then when I started calling Motorola customer care in front of them, they said leave the mobile they will open the board ( hardware) and check, it will take minimum 20 days. Since I don’t have any other option, I left the mobile with them. Now I don’t know what is going to happen for my mobile. I spend more than 16 thousand rupees and now almost a month I am behind this issue. From this people we cannot expect the service like what Nokia or Samsung is giving. If something goes wrong with your mobile just forgot about it. But I am not going to leave it like that. I will take this issue to all media where I can present. Motorola and flipkart has created many paid review for the mobile where it’s basic call functionality itself is not working.
