Motorola G5s, I am using this phone since april 2018 and till now what I have found that this gadget with a very considerable price is performing quite good than its competitors. Before it, I had the Coolpad Note 3 lite anfmd the moto g5s can be said as an upgrade of the Coolpad.Packed with 4+ 32 gb, 16 mp rear & 5 mp front cam, a 3000 mah battery with 15w turbo charger, this phone is doing the day to day jobs very efficiently. So, let’s get into some real review.Ram & Rom: g5s is pregnant with a 4gb ram and 32 gb of rom although I want the 64 gb version but g5s+ is available only online. Still, 4 gb tries a lot to stop the phone from getting hanged. But sometimes all of it’s efforts goes in vain and the result pops out. And 32 gb is doing a good job keeping all the files safely.Camera: the 16mp rear camera does the job very good. It really clicks some good pictures with more details. In the camera app, there are normal mode, pro mode, normal video recording with 3 types i.e. 1080p, 720p, and 480p and the slow motion mode. The slow-mo mode is seriously amazing. And there is also the beautification mode that does a good job.The 5 mp front I can not award as the best, but good. It can capture wide angle pics and there is an amazing feature offered by moto is that just by twisting the phone twice I can switch to the front camera from the back.Battery & charger: I can’t say that the battery is very good. It’s just ok. In the begining, it used to offer a full day battery backup but now I need to charge the phone in the evening after all day use. However, the 15w turbo power charger fills the gap. As seen in the ad, it does not charge the phone 50% in 15 minutes and takes almost 90min to 100 minutes to charge the phone to 100% .Screen: g5s offers the HD screen with adaptive brightness and gorilla glass 3 as the protector. The gorilla glass is very tough to break. My phone has fallen almost 20 times from an height of an almirah, but still it doesn’t even have a single scratch. Motorola with its moto actions offers here an option where the screen size can be less than 3 inchs from its actual size of 5.2 inchs.Body: the whole body is made of tough metal from top to down that makes it very hard, tough and durable yet light weight.Fingerprint Sensor: the fingerprint sensor is very responsive and it can be used as the navigation button. That means unlike the other phone where the home, back, and tab buttons are on the screen, I can do the same with the fingerprint. However, when the top of the fingerprint gets wet or dirty, it does not work. And I am also unable to lock the app unlike my previous phone, CoolPad Note 3 lite.Waterproof: the phone is a bit waterproof. However this doesn’t mean that if I put it in a bucket full of water, then it will protect itself. NO. The moto g5s can work even if there is some splash of water. But I am not sure how far the fingerprint sensor would work in the splash.Processor: the Octacore snapdragon 430 is quite fast that offers a flawless exoerience with 1.4 ghz cloak speed.Moto actions: motorola offers various action that gives us a chance to perform the task more quickly. This includes: 1. One button nav 2. Chp twice for flash light 3. Twist for quick capture and a lot.
The sound of g5s is huge. It acts like a mike. Its so sharp.
Mine is the golden that feels me royal.
With above listed fearures, g5s also offers android 7.1 experience which is very user friendly. But I miss the Gallery option which is exchanged with google photos. As g5s is packed with stock android, the phone is full of google apps.Overall, this is a very good phone in a price of 10500.
