The new Motorola V3 RAZR is an ingenious piece of design, outpacing all other phones in terms of design. Compared to other phones of similar size and weight it has a lot more features. Quad-band technology allows it to be used almost anywhere in the world, and can take advantage of analog signals as well as digital signals, giving the phone a good range of where it can be used. Its got Bluetooth, GSM capability, internet capability, txt messaging, multimedia messaging, international capability and much more.
THE PLUSES -
1). The phone looks and feels very sleek and it screams of great modern design.
2). The phone gets more bars in more places compared to other phones, and only loses signal occasionally when it only has one bar.
3). The frame of the phone is very durable and wont crack like plastic housing does.
4). The camera covers and the display covers use materials that are scratch and dent resistant, giving it a longer wear life.
5). The screen has a high contrast ratio and brightness level which is very easy on the eyes.
6). Very lightweight and thin, and wont make a huge bulge in your pocket like other phones do.
7). very easy to use interface and each button can be customized to do exactly what you want it to do.
8). Clear voice is easily heard from both the speaker phone and from the regular ear-speakers.
9). The camera is very easy to use and can take pictures up to a resolution of 640x480.
10). The buttons on the phone is very unconventional but is very easy to press and is also very stylish.
11). Has more than enough useful features for the average user.
THE CONS-
1). Short battery life compared to budget phones but it does have longer life compared to other high budget phones from other manufacturers like sony-ericcson etc.
2). the unique shape of the phone makes finding a holster that compliments the style of the phone hard to find.
3). other high budget phones still have more features, if not the looks
4). won’t satisfy the ultra-tech savvy peeps
The phone definitely isnt the cutting edge in terms of technology as many of the features on the phone has already been deemed obsolete by higher resolution cameras, better Bluetooth compatibility, faster videos, and faster internet capability. But it is kind of trying to reach for the clouds to trying to get the cutting edge as technology is evolving way too fast.
For the above-average user that like the bonus features that budget phones dont have, then this is a great phone. For the tech-savvy tech-hungry people this phone is already about 1 year out of date. But for most purposes, technology that is 1 year old doesn’t affect how the phone performs in this modern world, and works well with current Bluetooth equipment and other add-ons.
