Going by the title I am hinting towards the 3630 mAh battery that the mobile offers. Its massive and that too in a Motorola device. I was a fan of moto series right from the moto g launch but moto x is the best in the series so far.
The Moto X Play, looked promising when I unboxed it. I was excited about 21 mp(megapixel) camera and the massive 3, 630 mAh battery. The grooved back cover provides a really good hand grip over the phone and prevents it from slipping. Moreover the design is sleek and comfortable to hold.
Moto X play has a dual sim and supports 4G. The phone comes with a micro sd tray too. I ordered 32gb variant that cost 20K in flipkart. There is also a 16gb variant for 18, 500.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with stock android interface, and the octa-core processor. The Moto X Play has a 5.5-inch full HD display with 403 ppi pixel density which is pretty sharp and works great even when its sunny.Resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The 21 Mp camera that created all the hype does not take very sharp pictures due to under-performing sensor. Compared to other phone in the same price tag its far inferior. In house photos as little bit grainy. The 5 Mp secondary camera is not that good either. The selfie generation might find it of low clarity and too grainy.
Priced at Rs 19, 999, the Moto X Play is definitely not a bad phone, but there are other phones available in the same price tag that are better. But the trust that Motorola offers still stands there. Also the battery stays all day long:)
