The phone is launched from a super trusted brand motorola, which was bought by google and they further sold it to lenevo.
Now lets come to the phone, phone has good quality full hd screen with gorilla glass on top and high brighness levels.
Not bad at all battery which lasted around a little less than 1 day to one full day, as I am a heavy user and no other phone did that. Camera is awesome it has same hardware as used in google nexus 6. Everything worked good but processor used is the biggest flaw of the phone. I have used this processor in other phones like yureka which is less than half its cost. Snapdragon 615 has overheating issues, battery drain issues and many more.
I am not saying its a bad processor of not usable, it is awesome in terms of performance but is also a portable heater. It is good for lower price phones but not for a phone of mid range like motorolla x play. phone would have been recommended but it isn’t because ypu dont get the value for money only in terms of processor, I guess company did that just for cost cutting as they had to do heavy advertisements on television and internet. Still I love moto, and would expect something good in future.
