The phone is around 6mm thin and very light at 145 grams. But this thinness has an obvious cost. One, the battery at 3000 may is relatively smaller in the Moto Z2 Play. Two, the phone is so thin that you do miss the heft while using it. It works best when you snap a Moto Mod on it
But overall, this is the phone that I like as far as its design is concerned. It’s just that I like it more when it is used with a Moto Mod, because that makes the design more wholesome and full.
