4 Months post purchase:** I bought this phone around 4 months ago, but without bluetooth headset. As such sound clarity and reception is very good. Music quality is very good over headphones, though speakers would fail to impress you, though they would give you good feel to listen to radio, (I listen radio over speakers).
Camera quality is pretty good, but lack of flash or light is a negative point. Touch screen is amazing, but I couldn’t find much themes for this, only 3 preloaded. But its a bit tricky to take out and insert memory card, you should either have good size nails or use something else for "press and release" operation.
Overall thumsup for the phone after looking at iPhone, this didn’t let me expectations down.About bluetooth headset, clarity is amazing, I heard it on my friends one, and I could feel no difference with that of wired one, but mind you you can’t wear it while riding your bike and take calls, cos even mic is in the head set itself and also not at all possible to wear if you are wearing helmet, but if you are in car nothing like this...
I am not sure about service support and all, touchwood I didn’t had any problems until now. Yes, I would recommend this phone to my friends.
22 Months Post Purchase:
Hi all,
After long time I decided to add to my review on the phone. I am kind of guy who don’t change often and this is almost 22nd month with the phone.
Actual problem started with software where it behaved strangely responding in different way than it is expected, switching off on its own etc.,
Later real problem started with touch screen going from bad to worse... at the end I had to go for change in touch screen and intrestingly I got different diagnostic reports from different service centers in bangalore and also different pricing with huge difference.
I would suggest all of you to call/visit a couple of service centers for getting good price for same kind of repair.
As I got my touch screen changed they gave me an warranty for 3 months and exactly after 1.5 months to my agony it started to give problem again and since I was out of town couldn’t go to center with in that 3 months to get it repaired now that I gone for checking they suggested that I should again replace the screen!!!
During my long visits to service centers there are hell lot of people coming with this model with similar kind of problem and service center guys themselves accept the the model is having problem with the screen...
With lot of new models coming into market I am really scared to touch a touch screen phone... When I go to sell this model I am getting not even 25% of the cost price...
I would warn everyone who is going for a touchscreen models to get a feedback and then only venture to touch the phone..
