I am jyothis, writing this from chennai.For anyone planning to buy a mobile in the range Rs.8000, I would say that this is the best one to go for. It is perhaps the best mobile that you can get in this range.
It has all features that one expects from a mobile of this range...... classic looks, bluetooth, audio and video player, camera, web browser, expandable memory etc.etc (The memory is expandable upto 8GB, which no other mobile in this range gives) ......... plus it has some extra features like Voice recognition, contact and message readout, synchronisation with windows Mediaplayer11 , crystaltalk technology etc. Perhaps there are some more features that I havent tried.
The sound clarity of the mobile is superb. You wont get the sound effects when played without headphone, but when you hear it with headphones, its like ........ OK just try it and see. You can also connect it to external speakers and listen.
And about the crystal talk technology, it filters out the unwanted noise at the place where the other person is sitting. So you can get a clear voice from the other end.
The radio reception is excellent.
Camera is superb.
Looks are gr8.
Battery charge stands for enough time. very often, I hear songs, as well as download them.... but still the charge stands for 2 days.
Another thing is about the price of the mobile. The price of the mobile is lower in PlanetM stores as compared to its price in other stores. I had asked for its price in various stores in chennai..... it was 8600-8900 in all stores ( 8900 in Univercell)...... but however from PlanetM, I bought it for Rs.8195
What some people may not like about this phone.......
The width of the phone is more when compared to other mobiles. You cannot call this as a handy set.
Another thing is that the camera doesnt have flash. So in places where brightness is a bit low, the picture quality is a bit low. But still the picture clarity is excellent in bright places.
So if anyone have thought of buying this mobile, I think you dont need a second thought.......
