I bought this handset in oct ’06. Within a month from purchase it started hanging during conversation. I had to put it off and again on to bring it to life. However the frequency of problem was not frequent and I kept using the phone. The frequency kept increasing and in May this year, the phone totally stopped working.
I sent it to the service center here in Pune who after inspection told that the problem is because of vapour entry in the handset. When I resisted that the handset never came in contact with water, the person said it is possible that it happened because of using phone in foggy climate. I was surprised to hear this that such an expensive phone can develop problem like this.
Anyway they accepted to repair the phone after I approached their delhi office. I have given this phone for repair on 31st July. Thereafter I have been following up with their Pune office and Delhi office but till date the phone has not been repaired. When I contacted their Delhi office they said they have not received any mails sent by me.
With this kind of products and service, I am sure this company will not last longer in Indian market. I strongly recommend not to buy this product. It is not reliable at all.
