Motorola SLVR L7

:-)...........Hi there, this is my first ever review on any product on this site.

Recently I got this Blacky for a good deal of 9k in Bangalore. The price itself was tempting to go for it not to forget the salient features this had to offer moreover a good bargain for my old C115 at Rs. 800/-.   Just like others, I am a no no NOKIA guy.

I am with Motorola brand eversince I got my first mobile T190. Moto SLVR L7 is fully packed. You don’t have to go look for anything else. I recommend this piece of art for new buyers. The cell impresses one right from the box packaging. It shows that Motorola cares for its customers.

I also got an Airtel Online activated on this phone and Internet usage is a free flow stream.....graphics and webpage access is excellent.

Let me use this black beauty for some time and give my review again later.

I see following pros and cons in this phone, but pros outweighs cons.

PROS:

1. Crystal clear pictures.

   
   




2. Cute looks, dynamic and simple, just like Abhishek.

   
   




3. Very good digital audio clarity.

   
   




4. Ease of connection to bluetooth devices.

   
   




5. Cricket game that comes along is an excellent time killer.

   
   




6. Contrary to point #3 in Cons, a virus free phone unlike Nokia.

   
   




7. You don’t have to spend additionally on maintaining this phone unlike Nokia. On an average, my friends and cousins spend merely now and then just to get rid of virus on a Nokia phone. Motorola SLVR L7 wins over here.

   
   




8. Voice recording capabilities with video is superb, picks up even a miniscule voice vibration. Excellent night vision.

   
   

CONS:

1. Charger, handsfree, data cable all in one port (will disturb when connected to PC/Laptop, can be a hinderance to continuous Internet browsing that data cable has to be removed for charging purposes).

   
   




2. No FM receiver and you can’t even load this software, the dealer says.

   
   




3. Does not support external software loaded onto the chip unlike Nokia, the dealer says.

   
   




4. Quite funny, the charger notification blink was still on even though disconnected from the port, but this happened only once.

   
   




5. The phone literally hanged just like a PC, I had to reboot. Fine since (Intel inside ?)

   
   




6. Video is good but should have been a 2MP camera atleast.
