I wanted to buy a gift for my wifes bday and decided to buy her a mobile in 10K range. So I began scanning for mobile phones. L7 ads were beaming and so I thought of going to the webpage to see the features. Having felt happy I then went to couple of mobile phone shops who had exchange offers for her old Nokia phone. Heres what I came up with:
Look and feel:
The phone is looks absolutely cool. With slim looks and cool touchpads, my wife absolutely loved it and so did I. The phone was very handly and contemporary. Its little heavier than one would imagine.
Features:
The primary features I was looking for were:
MP3 player
Organiser
Quad band phone
Bluetooth enabled.
Expandable memory.
Easy data transfer
More importanty I want it to be around 10K range. So there were quite few models that had these features and fit well in my budget. L7 had all these features and even more features like MP3 ringtones, speaker, free mem of 128Meg, USB cable, VGA(0.5 MP) cam, video recorder, etc. So I had all the more reasons to go for L7. The games that ship with the phone are excellent. Much better than the ones you get in Nokia.
The feature I would have liked in L7 is FM radio.
Value for money:
The L7 is a real value for money phone. In my opinion it is the best model in 10K range and wins hands down over the Nokia and Samsung models in the price range. Simple reason is the features L7 has. I dont think any phone has all these features. The audio quality is as good as my iPod Mini. Camera is pretty good. The best thing about this phone is the ease of data transfer.
Overall I am happy that I have gifted my wife with a phone that her friends feel jealous about :-)
The only complaint I really have is that the phone is little flimsy and one needs to be extra cautious about this one. Luckily I didnt buy this one for me ;-). So its a trade off that can be lived with.
