I had to buy it from the moment it engaged my eyes, I couldnt get my eyes off this sleek, stylish, slim and sexy cell-phone, oh is 4s (sleek, stylish, slim and sexy) all-in-one blended together. Wow
The phone
It’s arguably the most stylish phone of today. It comes in black casing and a touch system keypad.
I would like to define this truly stylish cell as what do you need in a cell-phone of today if you are a gadget geek or freak.
Make and Receive calls: Off-course this is the most basic requirement and that’s why it is called a cell-phone. The clear voice reception makes it a true champion.
Send and Receive SMS: Oh yes, this cell-phone has this very basic feature as well, mind blowing, what an awesome discovery. In today’s world, if you are not SMSing, you may be or must be out of this universe.
Send and Receive MMS: Now you are talking, no, I think its MMSing. Whatever. You have to have MMS feature available in todays cell-phones, be it a normal cell-phone or a sophisticated iPod or iMate or this sleek little black beauty called Motorola SLVR L7.
Bluetooth: Now this is a very handy feature too, which is available in this cell-phone. You can do wonders with Bluetooth technology and saves you from the hassle of carrying data-cables everywhere.
Camera: This cell-phone comes with a built-in VGA camera for still and video capturing. The camera gives you different lighting options like Automatic, Sunny, Cloudy, Indoor (Home), Indoor (Office) and Night mode. The best option in my opinion is Sunny, because this phone comes with a VGA camera, you get quite outstanding results with camera turning into Sunny mode.
Memory: The phone comes with a built-in memory of 6MB and an external card memory of 128MB. You can upload loads of data including pictures, screensavers, wallpapers, video’s in MPEG4, 3GP etc. formats and sounds like ring-tones and songs in MP3, WAV etc. formats.
Handy Features: There is a steel button on the right side of the phone, which allows you to start browsing if you have activated GPRS and MMS feature available in the phone. And, off-course there are three buttons on the left side of the phone, below one is for activating the multimedia feature and directly accessing the memory of the phone and different folders. Other two buttons are for volume increasing and decreasing for sound clarity during incoming and outgoing calls and for song listening pleasure.
Battery: The battery will give you three days’ stand-by time and talk time of one hour and thirty minutes, which is my experience. I do not know what the company says about battery time.
Games: There are two built-in games, one is AsphaltUrban GT for car racing lovers and other is Cricket for this Cricket crazy sub-continent.
Applications: The built-in applications are like Digital Audio Player and a Digital Safe (you can lock personal passwords in the safe).
Other Applications: It includes Calculator and Calendar for your personal use, when on the move.
Data Synchronisation: The phone comes with a data-cable and a software CD for synchronizing data like contacts and calendars.
Motorola Phone Tools: This software, after installing, allows you to upload or download data like pictures, contacts, calendars, videos and ring-tones etc. into your phone or PC.
Head-phone: This is also included in the package for your listening pleasure and mind you, the sound quality increases when head-phone is attached to your phone and ears.
That’s it. I do not know what else came. I have mentioned all the details about the phone and I bought it for Rs. 16, 000 (in Pakistan) when it just came into the market.
Thanks for reading and also pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease comment on my review.
