The Movie is about a young writer who wants to write
about Love!
He Moves to Paris France, to find the
inspiration to write..
He falls in with a group of strange actors/producers,
Then the Movie gets a little Bizarre..
We, the viewer, are then transported on what(feels}
like a Roller Coaster ride into the Cabaret

The ’’Moulin Rouge’’ is a famous bawdy, Cabaret
in the Underbelly of Paris...
The performers are mostly women, doing the famous Dance
the Cancan..
They show a lot of skin, and some are paid
for their favors....
The star is Miss Satine..
Played brilliantly by Nicole Kidman..
She becomes the love interest of the young writer!
The writer is played brilliantly by Ewan McGregor...
The best part of this Movie, is the superb Music!
Nicole Kidman does a wonderful job...
She does all her own singing, and has a good voice!
Ewan McGregor is a delight to behold..
He has a superb singing voice, and will melt the heart
of the female viewers!
Its a very disjointed Movie...
It flits around here and there.
I found it to be a very disconcerting Movie!
It was sometimes hard to follow reality from
the fanciful..
I recommend it, because of the Music, though some of the
music you will have heard before.
A little Beatles...Madonna...and others, including
’’Diamonds are a girls best friend!’’
If you like the difference in Movies!
then this one is for you!
Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it...
If you like a Movie that is more straightforward...
